GlueX 2020 is being hosted on Pacific Time. The official hours of operation are as follows:
Sun, Sept 27 - 9am-5pm - (Pre-day workshops only)
Mon and Tues, Sept 28 & 29 - 7am-5pm - All sessions, the Vendor Pavilion, and Help Desk
Note: While you can access the entire venue any time throughout the event, the vendor pavilion, help desk, and auditoriums will only be staffed during official hours of operation.
We understand your schedule may not allow you to attend the event. If this is the case, please let us know and we are happy to connect with you individually. This platform is also available on-demand after the event is over.
All sessions will kick off at the times listed on the General Session and Breakout schedules, in Pacific Time.
Most sessions will broadcast at a specific time with a live Q&A session listed directly beneath it.
All sessions and vendor material will be available on-demand AFTER the event is over for 30 days. Only ticket holders will be able to access the platform post-event.
After clicking on either General Session or Breakout Sessions from the lobby, you can view the schedule for each room by clicking on the screen. All sessions will open 5 min before they kick off. A join button will appear beside each session as soon as it opens. If you join a session partway through a session broadcast, you will join at the partway mark.
The best way to connect with your fellow attendees, vendors, and the GlueCrew is via live text or video chat. The chat function
will appear in every vendor booth you visit, at the Glue Zone, in the Datto Lounge, and at the Help Desk. Simply type in a message
and get the conversation started!
All of our sponsors have some amazing specials, and feature announcements for you to take advantage of. Click on “Vendor Pavilion”
in the lobby to get a birds-eye view of all sponsors. You can then click into any booth you want to visit and scroll left or right
to visit other booths.
Every attendee has a briefcase that can be filled with as many documents as you like hosted in sponsor booths and the Glue Zone.
Simple click on “+ briefcase” beside any asset in the Document tab of a vendor booth to add it to your briefcase. Remember to
email your briefcase to yourself at the end of the event using the Action: Email button.
Every GlueX attendee can accumulate points to get on the leaderboard. You will find a list of point-accumulating activities and
view your current ranking by clicking on Leaderboard in the menu bar. The top 20 spots on the leaderboard will be awarded a prize
valued at $100-$1000 at the end of the show. There will also be awesome random prizes given out to lucky attendees at each
session and around the vendor pavilion throughout the entire show. All prizes, valued at $200-$2000 are listed on the leaderboard page.
All prize winners will be announced at the Closing Remarks at 4:00pm on Sept 29, so be sure to join in case your name is called.
